My approach:
I meet students where they are and help them reach those moments when learning finally clicks.
My background in medicine shaped how I teach: by listening carefully, breaking down complex ideas, and adjusting explanations until they make sense. I combine empathy, structure, and Socratic questioning to guide students toward their own understanding, building confidence and critical-thinking skills along the way.
My goal is for every student to understand the material, feel proud of their progress, and leave each session more capable than when they arrived.
Background
Before tutoring full-time, I trained as a General Surgery resident, where teaching was central to my work and strengthened my ability to communicate clearly across all levels of understanding.
I’ve worked with students from high school through college and beyond, helping them strengthen foundational skills, master challenging concepts, and approach coursework and exams with clarity and confidence.
